As fundraising and outreach coordinator for the Drew Lewis Foundation Inc., 26-year-old Zion Riffe-Stevens is leading community partnerships, donor engagement and outreach strategies that support affordable housing, family stability and neighborhood revitalization.
Most recently, he secured funding and oversaw the execution of community dinners at the Drew Lewis Foundation, serving 60-120 people each week.
Riffe-Stevens is one of the youngest members to serve on several area nonprofit boards, guiding strategy, leveraging communication and ensuring accessibility at organizations like PFLAG Springfield/SWMO, the League of Women Voters of Southwest Missouri and the Grant Beach Neighborhood Association.
“People are my passion, and I am deeply motivated by bringing individuals together to create meaningful, lasting change,” he says. “I believe that every person, regardless of background, identity, political belief or life experience, has something valuable to contribute to their community.”
