Zack Pemberton, 38, began his career with Springfield Cardinals LLC in 2010 as a sales associate. Sixteen years and eight hat changes later, he’s vice president of ticket sales and marketing.
“What once felt like a childhood dream – spending every day at the ballpark,” he says, “has grown into a meaningful opportunity to positively impact people and help rally the Springfield community around something shared.”
Pemberton oversees the team’s Charity Awareness Program, coordinating civic efforts with the Cardinals’ Fly Together Fund, and orchestrated the Red Access program, which has been adopted by Minor League Baseball teams nationwide. He is also a volunteer with the Springfield Dream Center and chair of the board for Sertoma Club of Springfield, having donated nearly 1,000 hours since 2019.
