When Vania Hager, 33, transitioned to her role as vice president of personnel and operations at Pregnancy Care Center in 2021, one of her many resolves was to provide more support for employees.
To accomplish this, Hager designed a comprehensive employee benefits package and introduced a wellness reimbursement policy. The policy gave employees increased access to physical health, mental health and child care resources.
Offering additional support to employees has translated into more support for clients.
“These efforts not only improve our internal operations,” Hager says, “but also ensure that we can serve more families in need, which is the ultimate goal of our mission.”
In addition, Hager supervised the relocation of the center’s administrative offices to create more space for clients, ensuring construction did not disrupt client services throughout the process.
