Meredith Bosso, a manager with KPM CPAs & Advisors, says she knows many people find taxes daunting.
“I enjoy educating clients and helping them plan strategically so they feel informed and confident year-round,” she says.
She adds that she is just as passionate about community service, particularly for nonprofits that rely on strong financial stewardship to further their missions. She has served on boards and occasionally as treasurer, providing guidance for numerous charitable organizations, including Springfield Ballet Inc., Betty and Bobby Allison Ozarks Counseling Center, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks Inc., and Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast Endowment Board.
Bosso, 39, says she began college as a nursing major, but then at a school fair she discovered accounting.
“While being a (certified public accountant) may not involve savings lives, I am motivated by helping people navigate and understand complex and often stressful financial situations,” she says.
