Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? “Never spend a client’s money.” At the end of the day, we shouldn’t be nonchalant about the cost – regardless of how small.
Favorite TV show and book? “Landman” for TV show. I read about 30 books a year, so if I had to pick, I think it would be “Fitzpatrick’s War” by Theodore Judson, “George Washington Dealmaker-in-Chief” by Cyrus A. Ansary, or “Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage” by Alfred Lansing.
Favorite food item or drink to order in the Springfield area? Cheeky ramen at Karai Ramen.

Gordon Lane, 35, establishes, fosters and advocates in client relationships as a commercial insurance specialist at Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance Inc. With 16 years of experience, he also lends his knowledge to numerous community and industry causes including being current chair of the Springfield Contractors Association’s Workforce Wellness Committee and coaching an elementary track team.

“I strive to serve my community by supporting local businesses, investing in the next generations, advocating for the construction industry and meeting practical needs wherever possible,” he says. “I consider my most significant contribution to be raising the bar for customer service within my field while extending that same mindset into mentorship and community involvement.”
