When David Pere, 36, noticed the system was failing to equip military veterans like himself with financial literacy, he beat the system – and now helps others do the same.
During the process of gaining financial independence through purchasing over 100 rental units by the age of 31, he founded FMTM LLC – From Military to Millionaire – to share his knowledge. It became a national platform to educate thousands in the military community about money management.
“Leadership for me has always meant stepping forward when systems fail,” Pere says.
Pere often hosts free educational events for the local community, teaching about topics like entrepreneurship and personal development.
“Every message from someone who avoided foreclosure, bought their first home or left a job they hated because of what they learned reinforces why this work is so important,” Pere says.
