2025 Office Envy: Photographer’s Lens

The Journey

Posted online

I’d venture to say I’m an adventurer at heart. I love to travel, wander new roads and find new paths to walk – often with my camera in hand and a whistle in my heart. It’s with this mindset that I start my journey with Office Envy.

All of these businesses have a distinct vibe, and capturing that essence takes patience and curiosity. As we walk through these spaces, I am not only focusing on light and shape and line but watching those who work within the space and how they move within it.

The journey is also about connection. Conversations with owners or employees add meaning to the images, turning a simple photo into a visual record of someone’s dream or hard work. Knowing the story behind a space changes how I frame the photo, pushing me to capture what makes it unique. Photography spans the gap between design and human effort.

By the end of the walk, my camera holds more than images; it holds experiences – and stories that we take pride in sharing every year. It all becomes a reminder that beauty doesn’t always demand attention – sometimes it simply waits to be noticed, one step and one photograph at a time.
