Abby Harrison, 31, leads by example. When something needs to be done – preparing meals in the kitchen, lifeguarding at the pool or ensuring facilities are tip-top – she jumps right in to do it.
Since 2014, that work ethic and dedication has contributed to transforming Millwood Golf and Racquet Club – where she serves as general manager and owner – into a multimillion-dollar business making substantial contributions to the community.
Volunteering, she says, is an essential part of being a young professional. Harrison serves on multiple committees, including the American Cancer Society and The Children’s Charity of the Ozarks, helping raise funds and awareness for critical causes.
She mentors younger employees and works to be the most positive leader her team encounters. She says she radiates a contagious enthusiasm that moves her team to reach for excellence.
