A group of senators are calling for McDonald's to step up its efforts to curb sexual harassment.
In a letter scheduled to be sent today to CEO Steve Easterbrook, eight senators point to "unsafe and intolerable" conditions and "unacceptable" behavior at the fast food chain's stores.
2020 candidates Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris and Amy Klobuchar are among the senators making the call.
Workers have brought over 50 lawsuits and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaints during the past three years.
