Now: Senior vice president and market leader of commercial banking, UMB Bank

Justin Butler is quickly climbing his way up the ladder at UMB Bank. An individual producer in 2015, he now has four employees who directly report to him and co-leads the UMB greater Missouri region’s commercial banking efforts.

“If you learn the culture and get accustomed to it, the company gives you a direction of leadership,” he says. “Careerwise, things are going on the trajectory that I hoped they would.”

With wife Carrie, Butler’s sons are now 5 and almost 3.

“We’re probably good at this point,” he says. “We’re both only children. It’s a lot to take on.”
