Brent McCoy pivoted his career in September 2015 after nine years working for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. During his time at the business advocacy organization, he worked with a large portfolio of members. OakStar Bank’s culture stood out.

“I absolutely love it,” he says, referencing the differences between public life at the chamber and the private bank business. “You can focus one by one on each individual customer.”

With wife Adrienne, McCoy since has had two daughters: Mary, 5, and Elle, 3. Will there be more?

“It’s certainly still up for debate,” he says.
