Mission:
The mission of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools is to raise, manage and distribute private investment to benefit students of Springfield Public Schools.

Funding:
The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools (FSPS) receives funding from businesses, individuals and foundations.

12-Month Goals:
To support classroom needs by providing academic opportunities for students, scholarships, teacher grants and direct support for our schools.

Annual Events:
The Teacher Appreciation Banquet is a fundraising event which just celebrated 20 years. The event honors and recognizes the teachers of Springfield Public Schools and raises funds to support the Foundation's mission and goals. The annual Kum & Go Gallon's for Growth is a 24 hour event which raises funds to support the Foundation's annual Back to School grant program. The new Sip & Shop Champagne Brunch, Silent Auction & Fashion Show is a partnership with 417 Magazine which will raise funds and awareness for the Foundation.

How People and Businesses Can Help:
Donations to the Foundation help support nearly 25,000 students across the district through more than 170 funds and scholarships the Foundation manages. Gifts made to the Foundation provide needed equipment, technology and supplies for our classrooms. In-Kind donations to benefit our schools are also accepted.

Volunteer Opportunities:  
Volunteer opportunities are available through Springfield Public Schools.
