Opinion: Wine retreat offers more than vacation time

A panel of five judges scored the companies competing for Business Class on their applications, which elicited information on industry leadership and innovation, financial performance and community involvement.

The judges for this year are:
  • Jim Abramovitz, business manager with the Ozarks Technical Community College Center for Workforce Development;
  • Crista Hogan, executive director of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association;
  • Dave Karr, chief financial officer of Conco Cos. and an educator with Webster University;
  • Scot Scobee, human resources director at SRC Heavy Duty; and
  • Mike Shirley, director of the Drury University Breech School of Business.
