Mission StatementMCHF helps donors to invest in their conservation legacies. We advance the conservation and appreciation of our forest, fish and wildlife resources by applying our

financial resources to the priorities of donors, the Foundation and the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Service Area Statewide
Funding We depend on private donations. We also receive funding from Conservation License Plate users, payments into the Stream Stewardship Trust Fund (an in-lieu mitigation program administered with the US Army Corps of Engineers), and foundation, corporate and government grants.
12-month Goals 1) To support at least 40 projects that enhance Missouri’s natural resources and help people to enjoy the Missouri outdoors.
2) To conserve critical stream resources in strategic locations throughout Missouri with the Stream Stewardship Trust Fund.
3) To strengthen conservation partnerships.
Recent CampaignsOur latest campaign helped the Conservation Department build a new viewing and fishing platform at Bennett Spring State Park. Businesses support our projects with cash, services, and products, and by putting MCHF conservation license plates on their fleets.
How People and Businesses Can Help We depend on generous private donors to help scores of conservation and community partners do worthwhile projects and events. Donors can support programs that are most meaningful to them. The donate page of our website (mochf.org) has details.
Volunteer Opportunities We work through partner agencies and groups to accomplish our mission. Thousands of volunteers help with various programs and activities that we support, such as Stream Team activities, nature centers, and kids fishing events, Eagle Days, and hunter safety classes.
Testimonial“Donations from the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation have helped the Springfield Conservation Nature Center reach more visitors with a conservation message through the purchase of educational props, audio visual equipment, display items, and more.”
