Editor’s Note
Since 1954, the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield has showcased its builder-members’ homes on the annual Parade of Homes.
The 2011 Parade features 14 homes in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic and Saddlebrooke, with values ranging from $129,900 to more than $700,000.
These homes also come with a wide spectrum of amenities, from the glass elevator in Millstone Custom Homes’ five-bedroom, seven-bath Hickory Hills home to the DuPont storm shelter in John Marion Construction’s 5,356-square-foot Millwood home and green features at several stops along the parade route.
For those in the market for a new home – or just on the hunt for features that could be added via renovation – the 2011 Parade of Homes highlights myriad ideas. Pictures and descriptions of the 2011 Parade homes are featured on the following pages, but the third and fourth weekends of June bring opportunities to check these houses out firsthand.
