2010 Small Business Week

On May 5, the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will name one of these five finalists as the W. Curtis Strube Small Business of the Year. Here’s the Small Business Week lineup.

May 3
7:30–9 a.m.– Kickoff breakfast at Dining By Design, 5021 S. National Ave. The cost is $10 per person in advance. To register, call the local SBA office, (417) 890-8501.

May 4
9 a.m.–noon – Understanding Financial Statements, a seminar in the west entrance of Glass Hall on the MSU campus. The cost is $109 per person. Register at www.sbtdc.missouristate.edu.
2 p.m.–5 p.m. – Understanding Financial Statements, a workshop in Room 205 of Meyer Library on the MSU campus. This seminar of the same name is required to attend this session. The cost is $109 per person, but seating is limited to 12. Register at www.sbtdc.missouristate.edu.
