The 2006 HBA Parade of Homes, sponsored by Youngblood Nissan Chrysler Kia, boasts more homes – 29 of them ranging in price from $153,500 to $750,000 – wider variety, more human interest and more great causes.
Are you thinking of a new home? Have you ever considered building? Do you just like to look at the latest trends and talk to HBA builders about your own ideas? If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, then the Parade of Homes is for you.
The Parade of Homes is a dazzling showcase of the premier homes built by HBA members.
The latest innovations in home design are on display, along with the timeless craftsmanship and quality that Springfield residents have come to expect from the reputable, professional members of HBA. Beauty, elegance, simplicity and convenience all await you on the Parade of Homes.
What’s new?
There are several new aspects to the 2006 Parade of Homes. Let’s start with the exciting opportunity offered by our Parade of Homes partner, Youngblood Nissan Chrysler Kia.
For the first time, a wide variety of some of the best new cars you’ll find anywhere will be displayed in the driveways of the HBA Parade homes.
If you’d like to see the home made famous by builder Rusty MacLachlan on KOLR-10’s “Building the Ozarks,” come tour it for yourself at Lions Gate during the Parade.
Expanded reach
For those looking for a nice weekend drive, the HBA features three Parade homes in the Branson market. Branson is a booming economic engine, and residential construction there is an important part of that boom.
In fact, the HBA of Greater Springfield recently expanded its jurisdiction to include the Branson market. We are pleased to feature these three homes to represent that important part of our housing industry.
Charitable endeavors
Charitable opportunities abound with this year’s Parade of Homes. Every admission ticket sold to the Parade of Homes helps support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Volunteers for that organization will be on hand at the homes to share about their great work, and your $5 admission goes to help their worthy causes.
Two of the 22 builders featured on this Parade also have partnered with their own charities.
The St. Jude Giveaway Dream Home house, built by MGM properties, can be found in Lexington Square, where you can buy a $100 chance to win.
And a beautiful new home built by Cornerstone Cottages already has sold and will support a great cause as well. When you visit this home in Rivercut, you’ll know the proceeds from its sale are being used to provide scholarships for New Covenant Academy students.
These exciting homes and many, many more will be on display. Don’t miss your chance to join in the fun of the Parade of Homes.
