"The 2002 enrollment was very successful, and I intend to get the word out to Missouri seniors that the state is here to help those in need," said Missouri Gov. Bob Holden. |ret||ret||tab|

"No longer will Missouri seniors have to choose between day-to-day expenses and their much-needed medications."|ret||ret||tab|

Eligible seniors can obtain applications from local pharmacies, area Agency on Aging offices, other senior advocacy organizations, through the program's Web site at www.missouriseniorx.com and via a toll-free hotline at (866) 556-9316. |ret||ret||tab|

"The cost of prescription drugs has risen dramatically in past years and one of Missouri's most valuable assets senior citizens deserve the state's help," Holden said. |ret||ret||tab|

"I also want to thank Lt. Gov. Joe Maxwell, chairman of the Missouri SenioRx Commission, for all his hard work on this issue. Helping our seniors, who have done so much for our state and country, has been, and will continue to be, a top priority for both of us."|ret||ret||tab|
