Colorado Gov. Jared Polis announced the first reported U.S. case of the COVID-19 variant was discovered in the state.
A man in his 20s is in isolation southeast of Denver in Elbert County. He has no travel history. A second suspected case of the variant was reported by Colorado Politics.
The variant largely has been seen in the United Kingdom.
