$140M Pa. credit union chooses Jack Henry

Posted online
A Pennsylvania-based bank holding $140 million in assets has selected Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (NASDAQ: JKHY) to provide integrated computer system services.

New Cumberland Federal Credit Union will install Jack Henry's Symitar division platform known as Episys for core processing, according to a news release.

"We simply outgrew our longtime core system and began a search for a new more progressive, growth-enabling technology platform," New Cumberland CEO Donald Varner said in the release. "After detailed system demonstrations, multiple existing customer site visits and numerous existing customer reference calls, the entire management team unanimously elected to partner with Symitar and install Episys in-house."

Monett-based Jack Henry serves more than 750 credit unions and some 11,300 customers nationwide. The company posted profit of $54 million in fiscal 2014, bringing earnings up from $40.5 million in the comparable three months ended Dec. 31, 2012.

JKHY shares were trading at $56.23 as of 11:15 a.m., compared to a 52-week range of $37.90 to $60.34.
