11th person dies in Greene County from COVID-19

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department yesterday reported the 11th local death from COVID-19.

The man in his 80s was immunocompromised. He did not live in a long-term care center.

The Health Department has reported three local COVID-19 deaths this month.

I do take this serious and it is very sad. However, the average age of the deaths nationally is 78. With the population of Greene County being 293,086, eleven deaths is .000037%. They are still promoting a narrative that facts do not support. This is fear-mongering, and yes the mature population or those with existing medical conditions should take precautions. However, they and you with these articles and scaring people to death. Stop it!
