A construction worker was killed and 12 others were injured after an explosion yesterday at a hospital in Gatesville, Texas.
Officials said the explosion likely was caused by a construction accident inside an expansion project at Coryell Memorial Hospital. The hospital is about 40 miles west of Waco.
"I do understand that it was possibly a gas line, possibly some activity in that which caused quite a blast," said David Byrom, Coryell Memorial CEO.
