2023 Trusted Advisers: Jeanna Callahan

 Century 21 Integrity Group

Jeanna Callahan prides herself on a personal touch when it comes to real estate transactions.

A broker with Century 21 Integrity Group, Callahan says she will never try to talk a client into buying or selling – she simply explains the pros and cons to the best of her ability. She attributes this to the fact that 90% of her business is made up of referral or repeat clients.

“I’m not in this for the today deal. I’ve been in real estate over a decade and have a long time to go before I retire,” Callahan says. “I am candid and realistic with my clients whether on the buying, selling or investing side. What home you choose is up to you completely – I’m indifferent – I just want to find something you love.”

Callahan says she realizes her time with clients often comes during a pivotal moment in their lives, whether it’s a first-time home purchase or adding more space for a growing family or it’s centered on a marriage, divorce or death.

“While that time in their life has emotion wrapped up in it, my role as their trusted adviser is to take a rational, realistic approach to what comes our way,” she says. “My role is to get to know my clients’ needs by building rapport, asking probing questions and confirming the information they share.”

Callahan, who has worked 12 years in her current role, is producing significant numbers as she works alongside her clients.

In 2022, she closed $8.2 million in sales, compared with $8.6 million in 2021 and $6.7 million in 2020. In each of those three years, she finalized over 30 transactions.

Callahan’s work in real estate has earned her multiple industry recognitions.

She received diamond-level Century 21  production awards for six straight years, 2015-21, and her honors with the company additionally include awards for quality and service. She says she’s also been a top-ranked Century 21 agent on a company level for several years. A 2020 honoree of Springfield Business Journal’s Most Influential Women awards, Callahan also has served in leadership roles with industry organizations such as the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors.

Callahan also is known for her passion for pets, as evidenced by a photo of her with her dog in her real estate marketing.

In 2008, she founded The Killuminati Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers financial veterinarian assistance for nonroutine vet care. She continues to serve as president of the nonprofit alongside her real estate career.

“I have been fortunate to build relationships with some truly extraordinary individuals both through our board of directors as well as donors and sponsors,” Callahan says. “I’m very dedicated to the idea of having people around me that are smarter, better and stronger than I am to continually challenge what we did the year before and finding ways to improve. By building my board of directors around this concept, The Killuminati Foundation has been fortunate to continually grow in engagement, funding the number of lives we’ve saved and the families we’ve helped.”
