Higginbotham Insurance Agency Inc.

Posted online

After nearly a decade in the insurance industry, Chase Marable has continued to prioritize the goals and needs of his clients, now as the managing director and national health care specialty practice leader at Higginbotham Insurance Agency Inc.

He specializes in risk management within the insurance industry, and he not only provides communication skills but takes the role of an advocate to guide and mentor his clients in the right direction.

“My why statement in life is to leave a positive, lasting impact on the lives of others,” he says.

Throughout Marable’s career, he has strived to be an influential person for his clients.

“This past December, I was able to deliver an insurance savings presentation to a rural Missouri health system in the amount of $119,464,” he says. “This amount of savings will go directly into this organization’s budget to further serve the public health needs of those in the communities they serve, thus increasing their ability to be successful in their vision.”

He sold $12.4 million in annual premiums among 43 clients in 2022.

Marable is also an active participant in his community. He is on the southwest advisory board of KVC Missouri, formerly Great Circle, a behavioral health organization for children, and has also been the event chair and provided 231 days of chemotherapy by raising over $386,000 for the St. Jude Walk/Run from 2020-23.

“I love to serve and make a lasting impact on others,” he says.

Additionally, he is a board member of The Sigma Nu Theta Sigma Housing Association and is a partner of the Missouri Primary Care Association. He is also a member of the Missouri Association of Independent Agents, Missouri Association of Manufacturers and Rotary Club of Springfield Sunrise.

Marable has been awarded for his professional work, including Springfield Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2023, Connell Insurance Producer of the Month, and an Up-and-Comer in SBJ’s 2020 class of Trusted Advisers. Additionally, he is a graduate of Leadership Springfield and is working on his doctorate in business administration through Missouri State University.

Through his experience as a risk management professional, Marable says he is able to identify important trends within the industry, such as rising property rates, changing employment practices, and shifts within claims regarding liability and workers’ compensation.

Additionally, Marable stays up to date to educate and prepare his clients to make the best decisions for their businesses. He values these opportunities as ways to positively impact his clients by preparing them for future challenges they may face as business owners.

“One of the most enjoyable parts of the career is continuing learning each day in order to communicate what you learn back to your clients,” he says. “This allows you to be a trusted adviser and give the peace, trust and security back to your clients of the latest trends.”
