Hood-Rich Inc. is the project architect on Metro Credit Union’s renovation, which includes new finishes and integrated technology to give members a modern experience at the branch. Hood-Rich also provided interior design services for the open workspace. Firm officials said LED lighting and vinyl wall coverings highlight the new spaces within the existing credit union. Stinson Building Co. is the general contractor, and Interpres Building Solutions LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. The project is slated for completion by mid-April.
Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
