The RexRover, 27North’s newest expedition truck, is designed for those passionate about exploration and off-road adventures. It is built on the foundation of a Ford F350 truck frame and offers enhanced towing capabilities. Targeting the modern adventurer, the vehicle is designed with luxury and convenience for immersive travel experiences.

SBJ: What got you interested in this industry?
Pavel Bosovik: I have a big passion for the outdoors and traveling. My inspiration was seeing people have so many problems with mainstream RVs, so I wanted to build and provide an RV that they can create good memories in. We believe in crafting vehicles that embody freedom, allowing individuals to explore the world on their own terms.

SBJ: What sets the RexRover apart from other expedition trucks?
Bosovik: Luxury and comfort are paramount and set us apart, illustrated by our use of aluminum cabinetry and solid wood interiors, providing a superior and enduring adventure experience. It also has selectable drive modes that enhance adaptability to diverse terrains. We’re passionate about helping customers explore the world in style and comfort, delivering on our promise with every vehicle we build.

SBJ: When did the RexRover become available?
Bosovik: We launched it in March 2023 and have had an overwhelming demand for it. We’ve sold approximately 50 units since they came on the market. We do a lot of traditional marketing, and social media has been huge for us.

SBJ: Have you noticed any trends in the industry?
Bosovik: The overland market has been booming for the last few years. People are looking for something different and unique, and we were able to create that for them. We’re in what we call post-pandemic boom. The pandemic created a change of lifestyle, so people aren’t as open to resorts and high-density places, so people want to go more into exploring nature and being away from people.

SBJ: How are you selling the RexRover?
Bosovik: It’s similar to the process of purchasing an RV. They are available exclusively with our dealer partners. We work with 15 dealers across the U.S., from Oregon to Florida, who purchase from us and sell to their clients. A list of dealers can be found on our website.

SBJ: How does manufacturing the RexRover impact our local economy?
Bosovik: Our team actively contributes to job creation by providing employment opportunities to immigrants who have chosen Missouri as a place to build a better life for their families. We chose to be in Springfield over Texas, in part because it’s a region known for its business-friendly environment and strong family values. In addition, we believe in giving back to the community and support local nonprofits, such as Isabel’s House and the Springfield Nature Center.

SBJ: What’s next?
Bosovik: We’ll move into our new 50,000-square-foot facility off Kearney in April. This expansion will enable us to scale up production, increasing project capacity and reducing lead times. We’re also developing an expedition boat, which we’re hoping to launch this fall.
