Project description: Wire Road Brewing Co. LLC will have room to seat 94 people inside, plus a heated patio and beer garden. The exterior of the building uses brick, siding and aluminum storefront windows and the interior features an open floor plan with modern industrial accents. Brewery officials say 20 beers will be on tap, along with coffee, tea and food trucks available. Esterly Schneider & Associates Inc. is the project and landscape architect, and engineering work is by Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; Anderson Engineering Inc., civil and geotechnical; and RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
