Kroger Co. plans to remove publications about assault rifles from its stores.
The largest U.S. supermarket chain joins efforts by Walmart Inc. and Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. to make moves on guns after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
Kroger is pulling “a few assault-rifle themed periodicals” but will continue to carry some gun magazines.
