Project description: While the project adds 6,000 square feet to the original Battlefield Lanes building, Andy B’s and Bartholomy Bowling spokeswoman Mary Guccione said the addition represents wholesale changes. She said the renovations and name change make way for 21 traditional bowling lanes each with food and beverage service; 10 lanes of “VIB luxury bowling” for public and private groups with new scoring software, music and full bar and service on the lanes; 2,700 square feet underground for up to 20 laser tag players in a “flooded mine” design; a game room and prize center; full-scale restaurant and bar with catering service; and corporate meeting and party rooms downstairs. With 10 bowling alleys in four states, Guccione said owner Andy Bartholomy has converted two properties to the nearly 6-year-old Andy B’s concept. Great Southern Bank is financing $2.55 million, and the owners also secured a $1.85 million Small Business Administration-backed loan through Rural Missouri Inc.
