Airbnb host charged with $8.5M fraud scheme

An Airbnb host has been charged with allegedly running an $8.5 million fraud scheme.

Shray Goel was indicted late last month in California for wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and criminal forfeiture.

Goel is accused of allegedly double-booking guests and then canceling last minute or moving customers to less-appealing properties.
