Husband-and-wife owners Dr. Jacob and Janae McClauchlin opened Mac Dental LLC on Oct. 20 at 413 N. McCroskey Ave. in Nixa. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, Jacob McClauchlin worked the past year at Davis Dental in Nixa and substituted at clinics in Springfield, said Office Manager Janae McClauchlin. A Nixa native and Drury University graduate, Jacob McClauchlin serves as the lone dentist with a staff of four. In addition to family dentistry services, Mac Dental handles extractions, root canals, implants, veneers and treatment for jaw disorders. She said the clinic accepts major insurers, such as Delta Dental, Guardian, Cigna and United Healthcare. Connell Insurance Inc.
Hollister-based Connell Insurance Inc. opened a Springfield office in mid-August at 909 E. Republic Road. The company purchased the 5,200-square-foot former Assist 2 Sell building from Great Southern Bank for $700,000 with financing by First Community Bank of the Ozarks, said Tom Jensen, one of 13 employees working out of the new office. Jensen and Randall Gammill, a partner with the firm, lead the Springfield team providing commercial insurance, employee benefits and consultancy services. BancorpSouth Mortgage
Tupelo, Miss.-based BancorpSouth Inc. (NYSE: BXS) on June 1 launched its first brick-and-mortar presence in Branson with the opening of a mortgage production office. Leased from Cushman Real Estate Management LLC for an undisclosed amount, the office occupies about 1,000 square feet at 500 W. Main St., Ste. 400, in the Branson Financial Center, said Brandon Fisher, sales manager for BancorpSouth’s Springfield-area mortgage territory. With nearly 40 years of mortgage experience combined, lenders Bonnie Isaacs and Tina Gideon work out of the office.
