Colvin Jones Davis LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for a 15,000-square-foot facility that will replace the existing Dewey Short Visitor Center. Architecture is a joint venture between Mike Hughes Architects (Tulsa, Okla.) and Lighthouse Architects (St. Louis). Other engineers are Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; and Rozell Engineering Co. PC, civil. Architectural Energy Corp. is the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design consultant, and Applied Energy Management Inc. is the general contractor. The educational and administrative facility has an estimated cost of $7.9 million, and completion is slated for August 2011.
