Confirmed: Dairy Farmers of America will move to KCK

Dairy Farmers of America Inc., the Kansas City area's largest private company, will move its headquarters and 325 employees across the state line to Kansas City, Kan.

The milk cooperative had been considering two build-to-suit sites, one on each side of the state line, the Kansas City Business Journal reported earlier this month.

DFA officials said Tuesday the company will build a 100,000-square-foot headquarters on the Kansas side.
