New director hired for Pat Jones Family YMCA

Ozarks Regional YMCA hired a new executive director for its south Springfield branch after creating its chief operations officer role.

Jessy Glair started Feb. 1 leading the Pat Jones Family YMCA, 1901 E. Republic Road, said spokeswoman Julie Eaton. Glair succeeds Kathryn Colglazier, who was promoted in October to the newly created COO role, the second-in-command behind CEO Steve Gimenez.

Glair comes to the local organization from the Greater Green Bay YMCA in Wisconsin, where she led the program’s day care operations for two years and managed about 30 people.

“She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that will be essential as we continue to grow and serve our communities,” Colglazier said in a news release.

As executive director of the Pat Jones Family YMCA, Glair is in charge of nine full-time and 180 part-time staff members, day-to-day operations of the branch, and the growth of memberships and programs, Eaton said.

Ozarks Regional YMCA employs 61 full-time and 700 part-time staff.
