Project description: David Cook, Branson community bank president for Bank of Missouri, said the full-service branch is designed with technology in mind. The bank will have two interactive teller machines, aka teller pods, to handle such transactions as deposits and withdrawals by prompting users through a series of steps, similar to stand-alone ATMs. The pods are expected to replace teller lines, Cook said. Each machine costs over $60,000, and the technology at the new branch is part of Bank of Missouri’s effort to install the teller pods across its 21 branches.
