Glenn Scott, at right, of the Nixa Board of Education gets help from school board President Scott McDonald to unveil the name of the remodeled SCORE building at Nixa High School. The renaming as the Glenn R. Scott SCORE Campus was a surprise to Scott, a school board member since 1986. Nixa’s SCORE program provides a place for students needing extra focus and smaller classes sizes. Standing for Second Chance of Receiving an Education, the program has graduated 440 students since starting in 1998. This summer, the district bought the leased building and made upgrades.
