Under Armour seeks patent for shoes that monitor blood pressure

Under Armour Inc. is seeking a patent for a pair of shoes that can monitor blood pressure.

The "smart" running shoes also would help users recover faster from a workout by adjusting the sole to help improve blood flow.

Under Armour recently leased a new line of apparel called Rush. The clothing features fabric designed to convert body heat into energy that resupplies the muscles.
