Uber's diversity head placed on leave

Uber's diversity, equity and inclusion leader has been suspended.

Bo Young Lee, who has led the department for five years, has been placed on leave after moderating two events titled “Don’t Call Me Karen."

Some employees reportedly said the events, billed as “diving into the spectrum of the American white woman’s experience," were tone-deaf in nature.
