Springfield restaurants can now access the delivery services of Uber Eats as of Nov. 15, according to a blog post by the company.

Uber Eats is an on-demand food delivery service, which can be utilized 24/7. Food from a variety of restaurants in Springfield can be ordered through the Uber Eats phone app or on the Uber Eats website.

Businesses signed on include Aviary Cafe and Creperie, Village Inn, Druff's, Moe's Southwest Grill, Pasta Express and more. The app currently lists 12 locations offering food for Uber Eats pickup.

Now getting the food you're craving delievered straight to you 'wherever you are' is easier than ever, the post reads.

After downloading the app, users can enter their current address and select a meal directly from the menus of local eateries. Special instructions can also be added.

"We actually have an iPad that's dedicated specifically for receiving Uber Eats orders," Eurasia Coffee and Tea employee Amber McGuire said. "We keep that open all the time. It lets us know an estimated arrival time, and then we have a little designated area for Uber Eats orders for pickup."

McGuire said Eurasia Coffee and Tea has not yet received any Uber Eats orders, however, they expect to see orders following a social media announcement "hopefully by the middle of next week."

Springfield also has two other known food delivery services: Inc. and Lightning Delivery.
