President Donald Trump today is expected to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
He'll also set in motion plans to move the U.S. Embassy to the ancient city from Tel Aviv, Reuters reports.
No other country has its embassy in Jerusalem. Trump's decision upends a long-standing U.S. policy to let the city's status be determinated via negotiations with the Palestinians, who want East Jerusalem as the capital of their future state.
