President Donald Trump intends to nominate Kathy Kraninger to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
If confirmed, she would succeed interim director Mick Mulvaney, who heads up the Office of Management and Budget.
At the Office of Management and Budget, Kraninger is an associate director.
