Trump administration orders purge of Kaspersky products

The Trump administration on Wednesday ordered U.S. agencies to remove products made by Moscow-based cyber security firm Kaspersky Lab.

Government officials say the products are vulnerable to Kremlin influence and therefore are a threat to national security.

Kaspersky Lab officials rejected the allegations.

"No credible evidence has been presented publicly by anyone or any organization as the accusations are based on false allegations and inaccurate assumptions," officials said.
