Top KC employer adds more space for new hires

Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies LLC, one of the top employers in Kansas City, is hiring even more.

The 3,000-employee company signed a lease for 62,500 square feet of office space at the Quintiles Building in Overland Park. It will house 300 employees.

The majority of its employees work out of 1.5 million square feet at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Security Campus.

By year's end, Honeywell expects to employ a total of 3,500 people, which includes 300 in New Mexico.
