TikTok is making a $1.5 billion investment in online shopping in Indonesia.
The company is becoming a controlling shareholder of an e-commerce unit of Indonesia’s GoTo Gojek Tokopedia.
The move comes after Indonesia banned online shopping on social media platforms.
