Three Springfield public accounting firms are among the nation's 500 largest, according to Inside Public Accounting's annual rankings released yesterday.
FORVIS LLP maintained its spot from last year, while KPM CPAs & Advisors and Abacus CPAs LLC moved up in the rankings, according to the report. The firms are ranked by annual net revenue.
FORVIS, which operates in Springfield at 910 St. Louis St., is No. 8 on the list, with net revenue of roughly $1.7 billion. The company in 2022 cracked the top 10 following BKD LLP's merger with DHG to create FORVIS.
KPM moved up 11 spots this year to No. 253. The company reported $18.1 million in net revenue.
Rising 30 spots was Abacus, with net revenue of $13.7 million. The company this year ranked No. 314.
Topping the IPA list again is New York-based Deloitte, with net revenue of nearly $28 billion.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
