Startup company Telly is planning to give away 500,000 televisions, but there's a catch.
The TVs have a second screen to display advertising. The ads would not be skippable and would stay on all the time.
“Telly is giving away the device completely free,” said Ilya Pozin, the company’s founder and CEO. “The business will be entirely supported by advertising and affiliate revenue.”
