Tax credit program applications now open for Missouri meat processors, specialty crop producers

Applications for two tax credit programs to aid Missouri meat processors and specialty crop producers are now open, the Missouri Department of Agriculture announced.

The Meat Processing Facility Investment Tax Credit program provides a tax credit of up to 25% of eligible expenses to meat processors who complete a facility modernization between 2022 and 2028. Recipients must have less than 500 employees, and may not claim more than $75,000 per facility per year.
