Rick Emling, 52, has not yet been charged. He was taken to Greene County Jail and later released between Saturday and Monday morning.

"We are aware of Mr. Emling's situation and are currently reviewing all information related to this matter," SPS spokeswoman Teresa Bledsoe told the Springfield News-Leader. "Personnel issues are confidential so at this time I do not have any additional information to share."

Emling has been placed on paid leave pending the review.
