Snapchat launches tracker for cross-platform ad stats

Snapchat is rolling out its Snap Pixel cross-platform tracker to help advertisers realize their rates of return.

The service allows advertisers to put pieces of code on websites to see what customers do after watching an ad through Snapchat.

The move is a flip-flop from two years ago, when CEO Evan Spiegel called targeted ads “creepy.”
