Three-year-old downtown shop Seattle Roast Coffee is shutting its doors.
The coffee shop, 401 South Ave., announced the closure on Facebook.
"The past year has been a roller coaster for us with health issues, and after months of thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors," the post, signed by Morris and Becky Dock, reads. "Going forward, we have chosen to focus our energy on our health and family."
The post indicates people with gift cards can redeem them at the shop prior to July 20.
The building housing Seattle Roast formerly was occupied by Bistro Market and a Starbucks counter. The Docks, who own the building, indicated in the Facebook post that it will be available for lease.
Seattle Roast Coffee additionally operated a location inside the south-side Library Center. The Docks also cited health issues in closing the library location earlier this year.
Moseley’s Discount Office Products was purchased; Side Chick opened in Branson; and the Springfield franchise store of NoBaked Cookie Dough changed ownership.
